Terms & Conditions — Camera Movements
1. Organizer
This challenge is organized by Freepik Company S.L., registered in Spain, with registered office at C/ Molina Lario 13, 5ª Planta, 29015 Málaga, Spain (hereinafter “Freepik”).
2. Purpose
The purpose of this challenge is to enrich the Freepik content library with high-quality video resources — including filmed footage and AI-generated video — that showcase diverse camera movement techniques such as tracking, zooming, aerial, handheld, and dolly shots, bringing a sense of movement, immersion, and perspective.
3. Eligibility and Scope of Participation
The following individuals may participate in the Challenge:
- Persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Contributors registered on Freepik under the Pay Per Download model.
- Persons holding an active account in good standing on the Freepik platform.
Employees of Freepik, as well as any persons who do not meet the requirements set out in these terms and conditions, are excluded from participation.
4. Submission Period
Valid resources are those uploaded to the Freepik Contributor platform between:
April 23, 2026 (00:01 CET) and June 25, 2026 (23:59 CEST)
Resources uploaded outside this period will not be considered for the challenge, even if they carry the required tag.
5. Participation Requirements
To participate in the Camera Movements Challenge, contributors must:
- Upload at least 1 (one) resource to Freepik Contributor during the submission period
- Tag all submitted resources with the required tag: cameramovementschallenge
- Submit resources in one of the accepted formats: Video or AI Video
- Ensure all submitted content is original and does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
- For videos featuring identifiable people: ensure appropriate model releases are in place per Freepik Contributor guidelines
AI-generated content is accepted in this challenge. Resources generated using AI tools must be submitted under the AI Video format. However, real-world footage demonstrating authentic camera movement techniques is especially valued.
6. Selection Process
Winners will be selected by Freepik’s internal jury, composed of members of the Content Curation and Library teams. The jury evaluates submissions based on:
- Technical quality and resolution
- Intentionality and control of camera movement
- Creative originality and visual impact
- Thematic coherence with the challenge brief
- Practical applicability and commercial potential
The jury’s decision is final and binding.
7. Prize Structure
Five (5) winners will be selected. Each winner will receive a prize of €300.
Freepik reserves the right to declare one or more prizes void if the minimum quality or participation standards are not met.
8. Prize Payment
The prizes shall be paid together with the invoice corresponding to the month of August. In the event that the winner elects to receive payment in a currency other than EUR, the amount payable shall be adjusted in accordance with the applicable exchange rate in effect on the date the invoice is generated. Winners will be announced on July 13, 2026 (10:00 CEST).
9. Intellectual Property
The participant guarantees that they hold all rights necessary over the submitted resources and releases Freepik from any liability arising from third-party claims.
10. Tax Matters
The financial incentives shall be subject, where applicable, to the relevant tax regulations. The participant shall be solely responsible for complying with their tax obligations.
11. Amendment, Cancellation and Exclusion
Freepik reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Challenge, as well as to exclude any participant who breaches these terms or acts fraudulently.
Grounds for disqualification include, but are not limited to: plagiarism, copyright infringement, submission of off-topic content, manipulation of engagement metrics, or any form of deceptive practice.
12. Data Protection
The personal data provided by participants will be processed by Freepik for the purpose of managing the Challenge, in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and Freepik’s Privacy Policy. Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability by contacting rpd@freepik.com.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the Challenge, the parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Málaga, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
14. Acceptance
Participation in the Camera Movements Challenge implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
