Free
The Free plan lets you explore Freepik's AI tools and content library with limited daily access. It is a good starting point if you want to try the platform before subscribing.

How to change your plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
Go to your account settings
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select My subscription.
Review your current plan
You will see your active plan, billing period, and renewal date.
Choose a new plan
Select the plan you want to switch to.
Confirm and pay
Follow the checkout steps to confirm the change.
What happens when you upgrade
When you upgrade, the new plan takes effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the remaining time in your current billing period. Any unused credits from your previous plan are carried forward as roll-over credits until the end of the current billing cycle.
What happens when you downgrade
When you downgrade, the new plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to your current plan until that date. After the switch, your credit allocation adjusts to the new plan's level.
If you downgrade from Premium+ or Pro to a lower plan, you can still use any remaining extra credits you have purchased, but you will not be able to buy more until you upgrade again.
Annual vs monthly billing
All paid plans are available with monthly or annual billing.

Annual billing is recommended if you plan to use Freepik regularly. Getting all credits upfront gives you more flexibility to handle high-demand periods without running out mid-month.
Common questions
Can I try a paid plan before committing?
Freepik does not currently offer free trials. You can start with the Free plan to explore the platform and upgrade when you are ready.
Do credits roll over to the next month?
Plan credits do not roll over. Unused plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Extra credits (purchased separately) remain valid for 3 years. See AI credits and limits for details.
Can I use Freepik content for commercial purposes on the Free plan?
No. The Free plan is for personal use only and requires attribution. To use Freepik content commercially, upgrade to Essential or higher.
What is the Merchandise License?
The Merchandise License (exclusive to Pro) allows you to use Freepik content on physical products intended for sale, such as t-shirts, mugs, posters, and packaging. Other plans allow commercial use in digital and print materials but not for resale on physical merchandise.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. You can switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa) at any time from My subscription. If switching to annual, the change takes effect immediately. If switching to monthly, it takes effect at the end of your current annual period.
I need more than 30 seats but not a full Enterprise contract
Teams larger than 30 seats should contact the Enterprise team. Enterprise plans offer unlimited seats with flexible credit allocation.
